This article explains the fields and settings found when updating a Meeting Profile in Meeting Mgmt. and editing Participant Site Settings.

Field

Explanation

Allow the Chair to activate items

 

Enabling this option allows the chair the ability to cast activate items. The chair will see the new controls in the top right corner when on an item in conduct meeting mode like the administrator.

Participant Details Expanded

Should item details be expanded by default in the Participant web Portal? Typically select “Yes”.

Participant Features

Select which icons and read-only details should be made visible to the participant. Options are Minutes, Resolutions, Tasks, Description, Sponsor and Comments. You can also change the display order using the dropdowns beside each feature.

Show Comments in Participant View

Should participants be allowed to enter private and group comments against agenda items?

Note: Group comments can be seen by all participants in the group, including non-voting participants.

Attachments

Should participants have the ability to view agenda attachments

iPad Offline Content

This is a placeholder for a future feature.

Delete Offline Content After Meetings (days after meeting)

This is a placeholder for a future feature.

Custom Documents

Should participants have the ability to upload their own attachments to the agenda

Document Privacy

Should a participant be able to share documents that they’ve uploaded to the agenda from within the Participant Portal with other participants?

 

Advance access for Chairs

Allows chair access prior to publishing to remaining meeting participants

Closed Session

 

 

Check option if participants should have access to Closed Session.

Note: Closed session access is also handled at the attendee level, via attendee management.
