This article explains the Publishing Settings found when Updating a Meeting Profile.
Public Comment Settings Values:
| Accept public comments | To accept public comments on the HTML agenda place a check mark in the box. |
| When to close comments? |
Allows administrators to decide when to stop accepting comments:

| Allow attachments to public comments? | To allow attachments to be uploaded as part of the comment. |
| Require approval before publishing? | Place a checkmark if all comments need to be approved prior to publishing. |
| Email address required for submission? | If the email address is not required for submission, a verification email will not be sent to citizens submitting a Public Comment. |
| Include position question? |
If checked, administrators can decide which positions to be displayed in the form. To add more positions separate each with semicolons (For; Against; No Position) |
Publishing settings are different for each eSCRIBE Portal, depending on the publishing mechanism being used. It is recommended that publishing settings are modified only be eSCRIBE support staff.
