This article explains the Publishing Settings found when Updating a Meeting Profile.

Public Comment Settings Values:

 

Accept public comments To accept public comments on the HTML agenda place a check mark in the box.
When to close comments?

Allows administrators to decide when to stop accepting comments:

  •  Never (no end time)
  • Before
  • After
Allow attachments to public comments? To allow attachments to be uploaded as part of the comment.
Require approval before publishing? Place a checkmark if all comments need to be approved prior to publishing.
Email address required for submission? If the email address is not required for submission, a verification email will not be sent to citizens submitting a Public Comment.
Include position question?

If checked, administrators can decide which positions to be displayed in the form. To add more positions separate each with semicolons

(For; Against; No Position)

Publishing settings are different for each eSCRIBE Portal, depending on the publishing mechanism being used. It is recommended that publishing settings are modified only be eSCRIBE support staff.
