Report Settings - Allow Uploading of Report Documents

When Contributors are authoring reports in eSCRIBE, they usually have two choices presented to them:

1) Create a new report using a pre-defined template

2) Upload a report from outside of the system

In some organizations, Administrators might choose to restrict users from uploading reports from outside of the system and mandate that users create all reports using pre-defined templates from within the eSCRIBE system. This option allows Administrators to choose if Contributors will have the option of uploading reports, or only creating new reports.

Note: For organizations who allow the uploading of report documents, be aware that users will only be able to upload a newer version of documents of the same file type of the document that was previously uploaded (ex: if an MS Word document was created in eSCRIBE Reports library and a user tries to upload a new version of that report, it will only allow them to upload another MS Word document to replace it).
