Voting Areas in Attendee Group

eSCRIBE allows you to define different voting areas, so that resolutions can be created where only certain groups of participants are able/required to vote. Each attendee can also have a different weighted vote in each voting area. Voting areas are Portal specific, and can be used in all attendee groups on the Portal.

Note: Voting areas need to be set up before you begin to add attendees to your attendee group

Voting areas are set-up through the attendee management screen, as shown below.

The All group exists by default for every eSCRIBE portal. To add additional voting areas, simply type the name of the new area, and click Add Area. The page will reload to display the new voting area.

For scenarios where there is only one voting area, but each user has a different vote weight, simply add the vote weight into the text-box beside the “All” voting area.
