Similarly to the regular open session meeting, the closed session meeting undergoes all of the same stages, moving from Pre Meeting through Conduct Meeting through to Post Meeting.

Preparing and publishing the agenda and minutes also follows the same steps as the open session and must be completed independently from the open session. However, publishing to the Internet is not possible using the Closed Session Special Action.

Expand the eSCRIBE Menu Bar, and select the Closed option to enter the Closed Session (using the Closed Session Special Action).

Inside the Closed Session, navigate to the Documents Prepare section of the eSCRIBE Menu Bar. Prepare the Full Agenda Package just as you would in the Open Session, if you wish to Print/View a copy of the Agenda PDF Package. Otherwise, simply move to the Publishing section, to give your Participants access to the Closed Session.

Next, navigate to Documents Publish through the Menu Bar. Here, Administrators will notice the only option available is to Publish to Participants, the Internet tab has been disabled.

Publishing to the Participant's Portal, gives those who have access to see the Closed Session (via the Attendee Group) through the eSCRIBE Menu Bar via the Web Portal, or through the Information Icon right on the Agenda in the Apps.
