When an encoder is in use by a meeting site, it is locked and no other meeting site can control it.  If an encoder needs to be unlocked, so that control can be taken by another meeting site, first go to the Other option on the eSCRIBE Menu Bar, and select Video Manager. Select the Edit icon next to the encoder.

Click the Unlock button.

Note: Unlocking an encoder will stop streaming and recording in the current meeting site.  Before clicking unlock, be absolutely certain that a meeting is not currently being conducted, or that meeting’s video will be interrupted.
