Webcasting Lite cameras in eSCRIBE will always be set to streaming, meaning that in order to stop the stream or live feed, the cameras must be turned off manually using the provided remote, or by unplugging the power from the camera.
Just before the meeting, when you are ready to start recording, simply click the Start Recording button at the top of the agenda navigation in Conduct Meeting mode.
Upon clicking Start Recording, eSCRIBE will display the live feed/stream to the eSCRIBE Publishing Page (iFrame) and begin recording of video. The status will change to “Streaming, Recording”.
Clicking on the drop down arrow to the right of the video section, will bring down a menu to allow you to Start and Stop the recording, which is the same as clicking the Camera icon.
Note: If the encoder is currently being used in another meeting, its status will display “Locked”, and you will be unable to control it from your meeting. Encoders can be unlocked via the Video Manager screen on the eSCRIBE Portal. For more information on unlocking encoders, see section: “Unlocking the Encoder”
