If ad-hoc approvals have been enabled by an Administrator for a Workflow, Contributors who are approving a report can add another approval step while the Workflow is in progress.

From the Approvals section on the eSCRIBE Portal, select Pending for Approval that has been requested.

Complete the form that appears to add an Approver.

Approvers can be added to any step by dragging the Approver into the designated step. Click Approve to complete your task, send the workflow to the next step, and save the ad-hoc approver in the process.

If adding an approval step in front of your current approval, click the Save and Update button to reassign the approval to the ad-hoc approver.
