- The Report Author receives an email stating the workflow has started and will show the Approvers as well as the submission deadline per Approver, as well as the estimated completion date.
- The Sponsor, if assigned receives an email stating the approval process has begun
- The first Approver receives an email stating that they have been assigned a task to complete the approval request.
- The first Approver's Admin Assistant, if assigned, receives an email stating that their Approver has been assigned a task that they can reassign to a Delegate, if listed.

| Workflow Step Approved |
- The next Approver in the process receives an email to approve the report when it is their turn
- The Approver's Admin Assistant, if assigned, also receives an email stating that Approver has been assigned the task of completing the approval request.
- The Delegate, if assigned a task on behalf of the Approver, by the Admin Assistant, will receive an email to approve on behalf of Approver.

| Workflow Rejected |
- The Report Author receives an email stating that the workflow has been rejected along with the Approver's comments
- The Sponsor, if assigned, receives an email
- Any Approvers, who have already approved the workflow, will receive a Rejection email so they are aware.

| Late Exception Approval |
While starting the workflow, if the report is Late (Submission Deadline has passed), the Late Exception Group will be asked for Approval before the regular workflow can begin:
- The Late Exception Approver receives an email
- The Late Exception Approver's Admin Assistant, if assigned, receives an email
NOTE: The Report Manager Setting for Late Items must be set to Run Late Exception Workflow

| Mid Exception Approval |
During the workflow, if the report becomes Late (Submission Deadline has passed), the Administrator will have to select a Late Exception Approval Group to run, once approved, the regular workflow can continue:
- The Report Author receives an e-mail stating that the Report has become late and the Workflow is paused, an Administrator must start a workflow.
- Once the Workflow is started, the Approver etc. will receive a notification asking for their approval.
NOTE: The Report Manager Setting for Mid Workflow Late Items must be set to Run Late Exception Workflow.

| Late Approval During Workflow |
If an approval has not been given before the Approver's deadline, set in the workflow and automatically applied to each approver, i.e. 3 days per approval, the Approver will receive an email everyday afterwards until they give they approve or reject the report.

| Workflow Completed |
- The Report Author receives an email stating that the Workflow has been completed
- The Sponsor, if assigned, receives an email stating that the Workflow has been completed
- The Meeting Type Administrator(s) receive an email stating that the Workflow has been completed, and there is an Approved Document awaiting action on the Portal Homepage.
NOTE: Administrators can check "Exclude Me" when logged in, and Updating a Meeting Type in Meeting Mgmt. to stop receiving notifications about a Meeting Type.
