Elections allows users to conduct elections in eSCRIBE. Two election voting types are supported:

1. Absolute/ Majority Voting Type:
   • Purpose: Where it is mandatory to choose a single winner
   • Example: Select one name to serve as Chair of the Council
2. Relative Majority Type:
   • Purpose: Where choice(s) that have the most votes will surface as the winner
   • Example: Select two names to serve as committee members
