Within an eSCRIBE Portal, Administrators can manage an unlimited number of different Meeting Types; whether Departmental, Committee, Council or Board, as examples.

Meeting types have 2 major components: An agenda structure, and a meeting profile. This article focuses on the creation and management of the agenda structure, while the management of the meeting profile can be found here.

The agenda structure serves as a basic template for the layout of the meeting’s standing items and categories, and allows administrators to pre-populate the items with default information that will create a starting point for that meeting:

  • Title
  • Descriptions
  • Minutes
  • Resolutions

The meeting profile dictates procedural rules for the meeting (i.e. rules for resolutions and voting, quorum, participant site options), as well as formatting look and feel for the agenda and minute documents.

Through eSCRIBE’s Meeting Management screens, administrators can easily create, modify, copy and delete eSCRIBE Meeting Types. These screens can be accessed by selecting Meeting Management from the eSCRIBE menu bar, as shown below.
