Note: Adding Items to the Agenda Template will not change any existing meetings, even if using the Sync Profile feature. Existing meetings should be manually updated to reflect Template Changes and Vice Versa.

Items can easily be added to an agenda structure via Meeting Management from the eSCRIBE Menu Bar. Ensure that the meeting type is selected, and click the Plus sign to enter Addition Mode. By default, going to Meeting Management will bring you into Addition Mode.

To add a Category (Section) or Item (Sub-Item) to the structure, simply complete the mandatory fields on the form:

  1. Category: the Title of the Item you wish to add, up to a maximum of 255 characters.
  2. Parent: Selecting None for a new Category or Section, for example CONSENT ITEMS. Alternatively, choose CONSENT ITEMS if you wish to add an item to the Consent Items section.
  3. Place Item After: Choose after which Category, the new Category will be placed. Using the example above, if your template has Reports as Category #6, and Delegations as Category #7, but you wish to add a Category in between the two, choose Reports (Category #6) so the new Category is created after the Reports Category, but before Delegations.
  4. Click Create.

If using Report Manager, deselect Staff Submissions if you do not want Contributors (Report Writers) to submit Reports to the new Category.

If the Public Comments module is enabled, uncheck the settings to limit which items the Public can submit a comment towards, and to control if the items under this category will automatically allow Public Comments.

When adding items, expanding the Details section will allow Administrators to add additional information  such as a default description, minutes, and resolution (vote).
