eScribe natively provides the ability for organizations to create user accounts directly into eScribe (Forms users), these user profiles are created in eScribe, given usernames and passwords, along with associated permissions once they login.

Some organizations may choose to integrate their eScribe site with their organization's ADFS or Azure AD to achieve more of a single sign on experience for users, while allowing them to use the same credentials that users login to their work network with. 

Integration with the organization's ADFS or Azure AD is ideal for organizations that wish further control over the complexity of passwords and the implementation of multi-factor authentication (MFA).

When using eScribe integrated with an organization's ADFS or Azure AD authentication types, the Customer's IT staff maintain ownership over the administration of the user accounts and password resets. 

While eScribe staff do not maintain or manage a Customer's ADFS or Azure AD, our team has put together the following documents to assist a Customer's IT staff in understanding the information that eScribe needs in order to integrate eScribe with the ADFS/Azure AD.

PLEASE NOTE: ADFS/Azure AD timeout is controlled solely on the Customer's end and counts down from the point of login, not from in-activity, therefore to reduce the impact to users, eScribe strongly recommends setting this time out to a minimum of eight (8) hours.
