As a meeting administrator, you can add follow-up tasks to any agenda item.

While tasks are typically created directly in a meeting site, they are managed centrally from the eSCRIBE Portal, using the Action Log Task screens.

To access task information, select Tasks from the Action Log section of the eSCRIBE menu bar on the eSCRIBE Portal.

The Tasks screen list will display any tasks from meeting sites where you have access. This level of access is determined by your user role, and can be configured by Portal Administrators and eSCRIBE Administrators with sufficient privileges.

Tasks can be sorted using the filter option in the top-right corner of the task list.

By default, closed session tasks (tasks attached to items in the closed session sub-meeting) are not displayed, since they can potentially include sensitive information. To display closed session tasks, click the Show Closed Session Tasks link.

Even after clicking the link, you will only see closed session tasks from meetings to which you have permission to access closed session sub-meeting.

A report can be printed using the print-friendly view, or the list can be exported to a CSV file, for use with Microsoft Excel. Simply choose the appropriate link.

To send a task alert to the assigned individual(s), click the checkbox beside the task(s), and then click the red alert icon next to Send Alerts.

Task alerts will contain a link to an eSCRIBE task management screen. From this screen, the assigned individual will be able to update the status of their task, and provide comments which will be saved by the system.
