For ADFS or Azure AD users,  accounts are managed in their organization’s internal ADFS, or Azure AD setup, in addition to having a user account created and assigned permissions in eSCRIBE.

The screens for adding an ADFS or Azure AD user are the same as the screens used to add a new Form user, except that they have fewer options, since passwords, locking/unlocking and activation are not managed in eSCRIBE. The example below walks through an ADFS user, however the steps are the exact same with Azure AD, except the labels say "Azure AD" instead of "ADFS"

IMPORTANT: 

For organizations adding Azure users - all users in eScribe must also be added to the eScribe enterprise application user group that your IT would have created when the integration was being configured at the onset of the integration. Please confirm with your IT team that this step has been completed for any new users you create to ensure that new users can log in successfully. 

Note: The username field in eScribe must match EXACTLY what the username is in the organization; if you are not sure, please confirm with your IT team. Usernames can not be edited; if the username is entered incorrectly, the user account must be deleted and a new one created. 
- ADFS eScribe usernames should be "domain/username" or "domain/email (i.e.                         escribe/testuser or escribe/escribemeetings.com). This depends on how your organization's ADFS is configured and may vary between users in some cases. If you are not sure, please consult your IT department.
- Azure usernames in eScribe should be username@domain.com
