How To Add a New Location or Update an Existing Location for a Created Meeting

  1. From the main eSCRIBE portal page, under the ‘Other’ tab along the top menu, click on ‘Locations’

  2. On the ‘Locations’ screen, select ‘Add Location’ from the drop-down menu or to update an existing location, select the desired location from the same drop-down menu

    Note: To enter/update bilingual settings for locations, please use the options in the top right corner before selecting the location from the drop-down menu

  3. Once you have chosen to add or update a location, you can fill in the location details in the fields below

    Display Name

    How the location is displayed in the drop-down menus.

    Location Name

    How the location is displayed in the agenda/minutes documents.

    Address 1

    How the first line of the address is displayed in the agenda/minutes documents.

    Address 2

    How the second line of the address is displayed in the agenda/minutes documents.

    Address 3

    How the third line of the address is displayed in the agenda/minutes documents.

    Video Encoder

    If you are using eSCRIBE’s Video Manger/Streaming functionality, you can assign the encoder to a location.

     

    When the location is selected when creating a meeting site, the encoder will automatically be selected, as well.

  4. Once you’ve filled out or updated the necessary location details, hit the ‘Save’ button

  5. The new/updated location as now been saved and can be selected when creating a new meeting site or updating an already created site.
