Explanation

Document

The name of the document being submitted to the approval process.

Awaiting Attachments

If a report is awaiting some documents, then checking this option will create an alert once that report is added to a meeting site.

Supporting Documents

Upload any supporting documents as attachments to this report.

Confidential

If the report is confidential, then a restricted set of permissions will be applied to the document to restrict access to the document and its content.

Signatures

You can include a signature page by checking this option.

Department

The department that this report is from.

Note: Selecting a department at this step will apply permissions to the document, and will also be used for selecting the appropriate approval workflow.

Branch

Optional: The branch that this report is from. Selecting a branch will apply permissions to the document. If your organization does not use branches this field can be left blank.

Meeting Type

The meeting type that this report is being submitted to.

Meeting Date

The meeting date that this report is being submitted to.

Approval Group

This is the name of the approval group that will be used. If there are multiple approval groups available, it is up to the user to select the correct group from the dropdown.

Approvers

The names of approvers in the selected approval group and the due date for each member to complete their task.
Note: the due date for approval tasks is calculated based on the settings in the workflow.
