Once a report has been created, multiple users will have the ability to make edits simultaneously in the report.

Please note this is a feature supported by Word. For more information on Word collaboration tools, please refer directly to Word Help's section. Depending on the version of Word used in your Organization or by each individual user, the collaboration experience may vary. Microsoft also updates the collaboration features from time to time.

As changes are saved in Word, users will be presented will the following prompt indicating there are other users collaborating.

Items that are currently being edited by another user will be highlighted in green.

Report writers can also view the Version History in Word by either selecting the Document Title on the menu bar or choosing File Version History

The Version History will show the last user to edit the report. Clicking on Open Version will bring up another Word document of that version, which you can Compare to the existing version and also restore that version, making it the most recent copy while maintaining the original versions.
