1. The first step would be to upload the new logo to eSCRIBE. To do this you need to navigate to the menu bar-> Other -> Pictures/Logos
2. Ensure you have selected "Logos" from the drop down menu and then select your file. Type in a unique file name and click "Upload".
3. Navigate to the meeting that you wish to upload this new logo to. Menu bar -> Meeting Manager
4. Select your meeting type and click "Update"
5. The logo settings are found under Agenda -> Agenda Style Settings. Select your new logo from the "Logo Path" drop down. You should also add in an alt text. Alt Text is the text that screen readers will read.
*NOTE: You may need to adjust the logo coordinates if the logo you uploaded is a different size or shape. You can come back to this step after you prepare a test document and see if it needs to be moved.
6. Once you have selected the new logo and updated any other relevant information, click "Update" and wait for the screen to finish loading.
You have now completed adding a new logo to that specific meeting type.
To check your work:
1. Create a test meeting in eSCRIBE, or if you already have one created remember to sync the profile.
2. Prepare the Agenda package/ Reprepare the Agenda package after the sync
3. Open the document and look at the logo to determine next steps:
- If Logo is too large: You can open the original file in a program like Paint and resize is smaller, save it to your computer and then repeat the above steps with the new logo.
- If Logo is covering title or other information: You can resize the logo smaller or you can go into your meeting type and move the title down a few spaces
- If Logo needs to move (left, right, up, down): Go into the meeting type and adjust the logo coordinates as seen in step 5 above
*Always remember that after changes have been made to the meeting type you must sync the profile of the meeting and reprepare the Agenda package
