Unable to open Reports- word documents within eSCRIBE- Error Office has blocked this content, sign in method maybe insecure.

Steps to Resolve the issue:

Office Version: Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2111 Build 16.0.14701.20240) 32-bit

• Click on Open Trust Center within the error pop up Open trust center settings Form based sign in- Ask me what to do for each host.

NOTE: Latest Office version: Microsoft 365 Version 2108 (Build 14326.2060)

• The latest version of Microsoft 365 Version 2108 (Build 14326.20600) no longer has the “Form-based Sign-On” method. Microsoft has depreciated this option because it used legacy authentication.

   

  In-order to get the form-based sign-on working by implementing a new GPO, as outlined in the following article:

  The new GPO setting was to “Control how Office handles form-based sign-in prompts.”

  As Microsoft will be removing the “Form-based Sign-On” in future versions of Microsoft 365.
